    • (Me, too.)

I think it’s interesting that everyone assumes “she” is a ghost. The last line could be taken as though she simply opens the door and walks through it. I suppose I wasn’t ambiguous enough. (and I think that would be scarier than a ghost, really.)

  1. “she walks through it” is such a stunning line, so telling . While it’s creepy, it’s also soothing. She’s always there.
    I liked it.

  2. I do so love a good ghost story. 😀
The ghost in the house I grew up in would wander the halls at night. I only saw him a couple times, and was never happy about it, but I never got a sense that he wanted to do harm.

  3. Laughing at mine is fine – I laughted too when I thought of it. In retrospect I shouldn’t have posted it and gone with the 4x lover instead

  4. Nice little ghost story! I’m glad we got the badge thing sorted out – sorry for the inconvenience. In this case, it started as user error on my part. 🙂

    • Good question! I’ve got about 140 followers at this point which is more than I ever imagined I’d have. The main thing is I find I really enjoy the Gargleblasters. The fifties are fun, too. 🙂
